I did not watch American Idol this season. In fact, I haven't watched it since season 1. But the other night, I tuned it when the finale had about 15 minutes left. I found some girl (who I would later realize is Kelly Clarkson) singing "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". She was followed by other "Idols" singing Bealtes classics. I had mixed emotions. If you know me, you know I am a total Beatlemaniac. Not many people can cover the Beatles and do it justice. Kelly did a good job but when Ruben Studdard started singing "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds", I felt the need to cry. It was awful. I'm sorry but it was. I'll let you judge for yourself....
