They eat a little differently up here in Alaska. Everyone hunts and everyone eats what they hunt. This includes salmon, moose, and bear. Also, I just saw a commercial for reindeer sausage.
Ho-ly crap.
I know that reindeer are just domesticated caribou and people eat caribou but why, oh why would you call it reindeer sausage? I can only imagine the trauma that little kids could go through thinking they're eating reindeer like the ones that pulls Santa's sleigh.
And can someone tell me why Outback here has Atlantic salmon? We're in Alaska and they have to bring in salmon from the Atlantic?!
